Mira Vista Elementary School

Ms. Hillegass grew up in the Chicago area and received her B.S. in Elementary Education at Iowa State University. She came to California on a whim and loved it so much she stayed. She started teaching at Mira Vista in 1996 and has taught first, second and third grade. In 2002 she earned her M.S. in Education for Cal State Hayward. Ms. Hillegass loves the diversity of students at Mira Vista as well as the wonderful teachers she works with on site.
