This is my fifth year at Mira Vista and my fifth year teaching 1st grade. I believe that students learn best by discovery and therefore I attempt to guide students to discover what they need to know in order to be successful in school and in society.

I want my classroom to be a place where each student knows that he or she is valued, cared for and expected to succeed.

I live in Pinole with my husband and 3 teenage children.

Classroom Policies

I want my classroom to be a place where learning is enjoyable and a privilege. Cooperation and helping each other are encouraged. Expectations are high - for learning and behavior. Respect is a high priority in my classroom.
