Mrs. Keyak

A native of Richmond, CA, Mrs. Keyak received her BA degree with an emphasis in Social and Health Studies. She also holds a Life Teaching Credential. She has been teaching since 1978 and has been at Mira Vista since 1983. Mrs. Keyak attended Mira Vista School as a child and her mother and one of her brothers still live in the Richmond area. She has taught everything from Headstart to 6th grade but prefers Kindergarten through 2nd grades. She believes that being able to read, speak, and write well is the key to success and she wants all her children to do their individual best. She has always wanted to teach and feels teaching is her way of giving back to the community. Mrs. Keyak lives in San Francisco and is the mother of three boys, Aaron, Joshua, and Jonah. In her free time she enjoys playing with her sons, reading, the theater and the San Francisco Symphony.
