The Mira Vista PTA pays for basic items that the district cannot cover, such as:
-- supplies for every classroom
-- buses for field trips
-- Wednesday folders
-- snacks for students to eat during testing
We also help obtain grants for state-of-the-art classroom equipment and special programs.
Parent volunteers run Fall Festival, the Science Fair, Spelling Bee, Cultural Night, Spring Dance and many other programs that make Mira Vista special.
The hard work of PTA volunteers has brought art (once-a-month art classes for lower grades) and music (after-school band for upper grades) back to Mira Vista!
What else would you like to see in our school? Let us know your ideas by coming to our meetings, which are usually held the second Wednesday of every month at the school.
Your participation makes a positive difference in our children’s school experience. It is easy to help the PTA in ways that fit your busy lifestyle. We hope you’ll join the PTA today!
