Mrs. Underwood
Elizabeth I. Underwood is a native Texan and a resident of Contra
Costa County since 1969. She has her long time college sweetheart
as her spouse, is a mother of two grown sons and grandmother of
five wonderful grandchildren, two girls and three boys.
Elizabeth is a long time educator with many years of experience.
She has worked with all grade levels in K-6; however, her passion
has been the early learner because she knows the importance of developing
a good foundation in students and of the importance of feeling secure
and being loved.
Elizabeth knows that all children need the feeling of security,
self-worth and acceptance. She teaches from the heart and with understanding.
She treats the children lovingly, as she would want someone to treat
her own children.
Elizbeth continues to learn by involving herself by taking workshops,
classes and in-service training. She feels that you should learn
something new daily.
Her hobbies are spending time spoiling her grandchildren, gardening,
reading and her passion is Dolls and Toy Collecting.
Elizabeth believes one should do your best daily and enjoy what
you do. One would experience success and happiness a lot more.
